BANI Residence for university students

Context of the project

BANI organization has launched in 2011 the residence BANI for university students (female students). The organization purchased a building of 582 m2 surface composed from a ground floor and 3 floors in the city of Agadir in the “Salam” district. This project’s main goal is to accommodate students from the province of Tiznit and its surroundings, in order to solve, as much as possible, the problem of school dropout and encourage girls in rural areas to pursue higher education. Besides, students from around Agadir are used to face at the beginning of each year, difficulties in finding suitable housing in Agadir city close to Ibn Zohr University to continue their studies peacefully.

Resources put in place

The residence has 48 rooms of 25 m2 and 30 m2, it is furnished, equipped and offers many services adapted to university lifestyle (Wifi, library, reading room, photocopier, support activities ... etc.). It also contains a computer room, an equipped kitchen and a big dinning room.

Coaching activities for students

The residence BANI for students organizes various support activities for the residents. It has also an administrative office and includes seven (07) shops on the ground floor. The BANI University Residence for Students is a private institution that aims at providing accommodation services for female university students and to provide appropriate conditions of comfort and calm suitable for studies. residence BANI also offers several support activities during the school year, such as: personal development sessions, women's health advices, stress management during exams, relaxation sessions, exchange visits ...
